Release Date is Out

August 10th, 2008

EA Mythic has announced the ship date for WAR as September 18, 2008.

I ordered thru Futureshop, then later cancelled it and reorderd with GameStop. With Futureshop you won’t get any Open Beta codes, or little PvE bonuses.

With GameStop I’ll get :

An open beta code.

RITTENBACH’S PORTABLE CAMP
Rest your weary soul and heal your wounds between battles.

SENTINEL’S AMBER BAND
Enhance your stats and cast “Touch of Earth,” increasing your chance of doing additional corporeal damage with each hit. (Usable in PvE combat only.)

All very nice. :) Now I have just got to wait til Open Beta for a quick look.
